Ultrahuman

June 2025 - Present

I work on the Rails heavylifting that keeps the app running, where the output is a number someone checks every morning. That raises the bar on correctness in a way regular web work doesn't. I moved our core scoring algorithms onto the phone with Kotlin Multiplatform so they keep working with no signal, and taught our ring to tell us where it hurts, with device diagnostics and crash analytics that turned firmware debugging from guesswork into something you can query.

BigBinary

October 2022 - May 2025

Nearly three years of building small React and Rails products in the neeto ecosystem, which is the best way I know to learn how software actually gets shipped. I built NeetoRunner, a coding-assessment platform that replaced our HackerRank bill, along with its scoring and proctoring; NeetoKB, a knowledge base with the analytics to show what people searched for and didn't find; and NeetoCal, a scheduler whose slot-listing algorithm I made 60% faster. I also contributed to NeetoUI, our open-source component library, where I learned that most of good design is just consistency, enforced patiently.

Tata Consultancy Services

August 2021 - September 2022

I started out in data engineering, building an enterprise data lake on AWS for a logistics client: ingestion from a sprawl of sources into S3, then PySpark transformations to land analytics-ready data in Redshift. A year of chasing pipelines that had failed quietly hours earlier turned me into an early believer in observability, so I added the quality gates, the alerting, and the reports that told us something was wrong before someone else noticed.
